Parking is a huge problem in Moldova. In Germany, the situation is not better, because quite all the parking spaces must be paid. Even though, women have priority, kind of ladies first. Yes, there are parking places for women/mothers with children. Those spaces are:

• larger. That makes the parking easier. Even more, extra space is so in need for women with children, who can have more room to take the kids out of their vehicles;
• near escape routes or the exit. Women received the closer parking spots so they did not have to walk as far with kids;
• better lit and have video surveillance. This is intended to strengthen the women’s sense of security and give them more freedom of movement.

These type of parking spots do not exist in Chisinau. There is not a regulation which would imply them. Not even in the private area. Victor Chironda, a deputy mayor of the Chisinau City Hall confirmed me that. Is there any solution? Well, he said me that the local administration can do nothing. The idea should come from Government. So, must be kind of willing to introduce the concept into the law, or the central administration could borrow the European standards. In conclusion, now there are no demands in order to make it happen. Though, private companies have a free hand to implement parking spots for women. I asked the private. Shopping Centre MallDova does not have these types of spaces. Marketing department said me that the issue will be discussed with the director and later I will have a response.

Câte bătăi de cap ne fac nouă parcările din Moldova. Nici in Germania situația nu e mai roz pentru că mai toate sunt cu plată. Chiar și așa, femeile au prioritate, un fel de “ladies first”. Da, există locuri de parcare pentru femei/mămici cu cărucioare:

• mai late, pentru o manevrare mai ușoară, dar și pentru ca femeile să aibă mai mult spațiu atunci când scot copiii din vehicul;
• mai aproape de intrarile în magazine, pentru ca mamele să nu meargă prea mult cu copiii lor mici;
• sub vizorul camerelor de supraveghere, deoarece există ipoteza ca femeile nu s-ar simți în siguranță, mai cu seamă în parcările subterate seara târziu.

În Chișinău nu există așa ceva, nici în reglementările parcarilor publice și nici la privat nu aș fi auzit/văzut. Viceprimarul capitalei, Victor Chironda mi-a confirmat acest lucru, explicându-mi că în normativele de la noi nu sunt prevăzute așa tipuri de parcări. Soluția? Potrivit lui, Consiliul Municipal nu poate face mare lucru, așa că ideea ar trebui să vină de la Guvern, adică trebuie să existe voință pe la vreun minister, standartizare la normele europene sau cel puțin cerere. Cu toate astea, nimeni nu interzice celor de la privat să amenajeze astfel de parcări. Am întrebat la privat. Centrul Comercial MallDova nu are așa ceva. Serviciul de marketing mi-a zis că va discuta cu directorul în privința acestei posibilități și va reveni cu un răspuns.

How to make money from waste? In Moldova we use to throw all the plastic and glass in the same trash with papper and food. I did the same home, in Chisinau. Now I collect the plastic and glass and make money. At the german Kaufland everyone receives money in exchange for plastic, glass and metal. In conclusion, I pay less for the the products I buy due to the discount I had received earlier.

Kaufland Moldova has the same service, but it works different. Once you bring plastic and so on, you receive just a discount to only one product the shop selects every week. So, you must first buy that product, which is in promotion in order to take benefits from the discount. Tricky. In Romania, the service works the same, said me the communication department of Kaufland Moldova. Anyway, it is an amazing beginning, because people living in Republic of Moldova can give a hand to recycling trash. Lilu ( a Moldavan influencer who fights for recycling and bio stuffs) would agree my words.)))

Cum facem bani din resturi? Noi toți adunăm sticle, doze, plasticuri pe care apoi le aruncăm. Așa făceam și eu acasă și nu prea îmi păsa ce și cum. Acum fac exact pe dos. Scot bani de pe ele. La Kauflandul din Germania, primești euro în schimbul PET-urilor aduse. Mai exact, plătesc mai puțin la cumpărăturile făcute, pentru că mi se taie din suma finală banii primiți pe PET-uri.

Și la Kaufland Moldova există acest serviciu, dar funcționează diferit. Adică, la introducerea PET-urilor se eliberează un cupon, care reprezintă doar o reducere la un singur produs, iar acel produs este diferit în fiecare săptămână. În concluzie, trebuie cumpărat tocmai acel produs propus de magazine, ca să obții promoția. Șmecheră chestia. În România este exact la fel, mi-a concretizat serviciul de comunicare al Kaufland Moldova. Totuși, e un început. Cel puțin așa, contribuim și noi un pic la reciclare. Aici cred că Lilu m-ar lăuda. )))
